Happy Birthday to the amazing C!!
It's wonderful and so surreal that it has been 2 year that this little boy came into our lives!
I NEVER thought I would survive his adoption story..yet the miracle occurred and his birthfamily blessed us and carried this little boy to our family. He loves life. He laughs he's curious. He's mischievous and gets in to everything but I wouldn't have him any other way.
All our boys (including Brian) have had the stomach bug over the new year. New Year's eve Baby J was miserable and crying and I didn't know why...then everyone got sick. Starting with C vomitting, then when I picked BAJA up from school he had just vomitted, then later that night Baby J. Brian got it the next day. I'm a germaphobe so washing my hands and doing the laundry spared me! (not spare of taking care of everything though)
C wasn't sick for his birthday Wednesday but his brothers were. Grammy brought balloons. After I was sure everyone was keeping food down I made brownies. This kid LOVES sweets and couldn't wait.
Saturday jan 7 We had C's birthday at McDonald's this year. I LOVE LOVE to celebrate my children's lives!! One has to get creative with a winter birthday and an active little boy. I think it was just the place for he and his friends and cousins. My mom chuckled at my that I had antibacterial towels to wipe down the tables and chairs and hand sanitizer for everyone. Brian stayed home with Baby J because he had developed a high fever. Today was the first snowstorm in a very dry warmer January. (maybe we could have had a bbq?!)
C LOVED climbing the slide. No fear for this little boy! He climbed through the tube and was happy that he was taller than all of us. He loved putting his finger in the icing on his cake, eating his cake and his happy meal!

I know this sounds odd, but I'm in awe over the big 2 you had on your door! How fun that must be each year!
