Brian, Christine, & Our Boys

Irving Berlin's "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" captures our feelings about family and adoption. We spent years praying for our family. Many nights were spent "counting sheep" rather than consider the blessings we were given. The lyrics “I think about a nursery- if you're worried, can't sleep count blessings instead of sheep” Children have been withheld for a time, but hope cometh of faith. We will find our missing family members.

Delivering Hope

I am excited for a new book!!
I met the author Jennifer Holt at the National Adoption Conference this past August. She attended my presentation on infertility. At the conclusion she introduced herself and said, "We kindred spirits need to stick together!" Can I tell you how much I instantly liked her because of the word--- kindred spirit
I believe strongly in sharing and supporting each other in the adoption community. So I am very honored to have been given the invitation to join a blog tour in anticipation of Jennifer's book - Delivering Hope.

I'm reading the advanced copy of the book right now and am hooked! Jennifer has a wonderful open writing style that immediately draws a reader in. I will be providing a review of the book, and an interview with Jennifer here on my blog.

You will have opportunity to enter a contest for a signed copy of Jennifer's book and lots of cool prizes with the book.

Whether you read my blog because you are our birthfamily, family, and friends. I sincerely plea that you add this book to your list. It does so much for the experience of adoption. Is that a good tease for you? I promise you will have my review in the next few weeks.
