Brian, Christine, & Our Boys

Irving Berlin's "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" captures our feelings about family and adoption. We spent years praying for our family. Many nights were spent "counting sheep" rather than consider the blessings we were given. The lyrics “I think about a nursery- if you're worried, can't sleep count blessings instead of sheep” Children have been withheld for a time, but hope cometh of faith. We will find our missing family members.

Christmas Calendars

Brian's family has a tradition of making Christmas calendars to countdown the days to Christmas. Thanksgiving weekend we gathered at aunt Wendy's. C ate more of the markers but managed to color his picture for the calendar and place stickers. I helped Baby J. He was fascinated by the paper. BAJA worked with Daddy to write the numbers. He then drew his "landscape" with the Polar Express Steam Train.
The calendars are now hanging in the toy room. Fun to be festive!!
