Brian, Christine, & Our Boys

Irving Berlin's "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" captures our feelings about family and adoption. We spent years praying for our family. Many nights were spent "counting sheep" rather than consider the blessings we were given. The lyrics “I think about a nursery- if you're worried, can't sleep count blessings instead of sheep” Children have been withheld for a time, but hope cometh of faith. We will find our missing family members.

Breakfast with Santa 2011

Saturday December 17, 2011
According to BAJA there is only one "real" Santa. The rest are all just Santa's helpers. He couldn't possibly see everyone!"
This is the only Santa BAJA and now my little baby boys know.
BAJA knows now he can eat the VERY best mac & cheese and chicken nuggets. The boys didn't want to get their clothes messy for Santa so they wore their napkins Western style. (I hope little kids can get away with this bad manner way :)

We sing Santa Claus is coming to Town and then...He arrives! He visits with everyone at their table and then has a time to visit with the children by the fireplace.
While waiting for Santa. C watched Baby Einstein. He's totally comfy cozy. C has a little stranger anxiety now. So I fully expected him to cry seeing Santa. Ah Ha...Distract him with Mommy's phone and then he can't cry!

Cute Baby J. This is his first Christmas! He was so fascinated by the lights, bells, and Santa.
Such a good little guy!
After pictures we saw the giant gingerbread house, window displays, and then the NEW toy store. Lots of places for little and big imaginations.
Merry Christmas!
